Show and Tell

We love it when our customers bring in projects they're working on, or projects that they've finished. Today, Cathreen Nelson stopped by with this beautiful Toni Whitney piece she made. "I've made all of them," she told us, "Some are really difficult, but I was able to make this one in a weekend."

We love how she used the Bernina to embroider her name on it, personalizing the piece as her own.

Bravo Cathreen!

Do you have a project you've finished? Send us an e-mail, or (even better) stop by the shop to show it off!

Featherweight Club

Every third Thursday of the month here at Quiltique our Singer Featherweight Club gets together to sew a fun project. We offer two groups, a morning group that meets from 10am-1pm or an evening group that meets from 6pm-9pm, to allow as many Featherweight enthusiasts as possible to join the fun!

The projects vary each month. Our next Featherweight club meetings are Thursday October 21st and Thursday November 18th. In December, all of our Featherweight club members will get together the evening of December 16th for a fun Featherweight Holiday Party! You can sign up to join the next Featherweight club meeting when you stop in to Quiltique, by calling the shop, or sign up online!

NEW!! Dr. Seuss Fabrics

Why didn't anyone think of this earlier!? Dr. Seuss on Fabrics!

These prints are colorful, bold, fun, whimsical... everything you would expect from Dr. Seuss!

There are so many fun prints - with characters, words, stripes, and fun Dr. Seuss spots, you really need to come into the shop to see them!

We also have prints in black and white... which are lots of fun in their "natural" state, but would be so much fun to color in as well!

These won't last long... we're open on Monday (for Labor Day Shoppers), make sure you seek these out!

Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett Laminated Fabric

These beautiful Laminated Fabric prints just walked into Quiltique today! These bold prints make a statement!

Laminated fabric has all the water and stain resisting benefits of oilcloth, without the weight. Laminated fabrics are wonderfully lightweight.

This makes Laminated Fabric a fantastic choice for making outerwear- like raincoats. It is also a natural choice for bags, including diaper bags, bibs, diaper covers for cloth-diapered babies, place mats, lunch bags, tablecloths... the list is endless!

Because it is so lightweight, you don't need any special needles or attachments when working with Laminated Fabric, but you may find when top stitching on it that a teflon foot can come in handy, we keep teflon feet handy for Bernina machines, so pick one up while you're here!

Children's Knits

A picture simply can't do justice to these fun colors and prints - on knit fabrics! Although they would make great kids clothes, you might find that you love them so much you want some for yourself!
